It's our goal at Real Venus to make beauty simple and effective for each of our clients. Our consultations are free of charge and our services are fun and highly informative. Once you become a Real Venus client, we are always available to assist you and answer any questions (not just during a particular service or when you make a product purchase). Put simply, Real Venus offers you your own personal cosmetics consultant.
A beauty isle can never tailor itself to the one person it should be tailored to: You. Try as they might, there is no way a large corporation can mass produce items that will take into account the individual intricacies of each woman: the color of her skin, its type, the placement and style of her features, her preferences and tastes...etc. Because in the end, we don't all fit in the same mold, and personalization requires a personal touch. Our makeup is hand picked and custom blended by a professional artist to bring out your best features, and our skincare regimens are built around your skin’s particular needs.
Many women have the experience of buying new makeup based on what products where pushed at a sales counter or by the inaccurate color swatch at the drugstore,...only to come home and find that it just isn't what they were hoping for. Perhaps the quality isn't high enough or the color doesn't look good. This leads to the "toss it in a drawer with the rest because you might wear it one day, even though it isn't what you want" syndrome. (And after all, who wants to throw away an item you just spent good money on?) It isn't worth much to get an amazing look for one day and then go home without any understanding of how to re-create it. We believe that empowering people with knowledge is crucial. We show our clients how to apply the makeup they have chosen, and how to use it in a way that fits into their lifestyle while always emphasizing what they love best about themselves. We also teach and encourage techniques for a healthier body and skin. It might sound like a cliche, but we really can't emphasize it enough: Beauty comes from the inside. There is NO substitute (not even makeup!) for a nourished body and well treated skin.

Rebekah Lynn Osorio has art running through her veins, and painting faces is no exception. She has worked as an internationally recognized visual artist, spending the last 13 years creating color and form. Her path has also lead her to gain experience as both a model and photographer. This now enables her to bring that same level of quality and understanding of aesthetics to her work as a makeup artist working in cosmetics consulting. She is professionally trained and certified in custom cosmetics. Rebekah loves being able to help her clients look and feel their best. 
Julie K. Photo is a San Francisco/Bay Area photographer who is known for being able to capture women of all shapes and sizes at their most beautiful of moments. She has an extensive and varied portfolio of weddings, children, family, and events, but the service that is dearest to her heart is that of her "Sensual Shots" glamour photos. In Julie's words: "There is nothing more gratifying than helping a woman see just how sexy she really is." See Julie's work at JulieKPhoto.com  Jasmine Kalua is a massage therapist who spends much of her time relieving the daily stress of her clients at spas throughout the Napa Valley. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Reflexology, and is known for giving a killer hand and scalp massage. We count ourselves lucky to have her on our spa team!  Daniel Kaltenbach is our team's primary event planner. He schedules events, from one on one consultations to spa nights and photo sessions. He also serves as the event coordinator at any group event from makeup lessons to weddings. While Daniel thinks we make women look amazing, you would be hard pressed to catch him on the street wearing any of our makeup! Though, if you look closely at our portfolio section, you might catch a glimpse of him in our before and after make-over shots. But, shhh, don't tell anyone!  Julie Laird is a Motives Consultant who uses her keen eye for detail and organization to make sure our events run as smoothly as our eyeshadows apply!  Owen Johnson of Imago Glamour is a veteran to the photography world, and has spent the last 14 years capturing images of beautiful women. He now brings these skills to our Makeover and Photo Parties, to the happy benefit of our party attendants! |
